An Onsite Manager is like a personal assistant with an entertainment background to handle all the details the day of an event. This person will coordinate the elements of the event with all parties involved. A typical event would require:
- Coordination between the venue, the entertainer, the buyer, and the production company for show details and event day scheduling
- Contact the venue and organize parking, load in location, set up times, green room preparations
- Coordinate show times and breaks
- Organize the entertainer’s merchandise area
- Provide safe and comfortable “meet and greet” area for the entertainer
- Coordinate with the entertainer and venue to load out equipment and wrap up the day!
An Onsite Manager works primarily on behalf of the entertainer, spearheading the details relating to the show and coordinating them with the rest of the evening, but an Onsite Manager can be made available to the buyer or a corporate organizer as well. It’s like hiring a temporary personal assistant or event producer to help you plan your next event. It’s not as involved as an event planner, but has a lot of the same benefits for a fraction of the cost!
